reproductive medicine speaking at a conference on sexuality in
Salzburg, says that female orgasm is helpful to conception. With
researchers at the University of Vienna, he has shown that female
orgasms lead to the release of high amounts of the neurotransmitter
oxytocin.

Getting these results "wasn’t so easy," he explains. "The molecule has
a half life period of only a few minutes. So within a two-minute time
frame we needed to take blood from a post-orgasmic female subject and
centrifuge and deep-freeze it to get reliable measurement results." In
doing so, the researchers were able to establish what role oxytocin
plays with regard to orgasm.

For one thing, the neurotransmitter effects muscle contractibility on
the pelvic floor. For another, large amounts of oxytocin increase
concentration of the luteinizing hormone (LH) that causes ovulation.
"When a woman near ovulation has an orgasm it triggers ovulation. So
female orgasm is helpful to conception,” Dr. Huber says.

Such as, green beauty, natural health lifestyle, Eco-friendly fashion etc.  December is a touchy month for many.  We are cheerful and we are still sad.   Since, Sandy Storm, many NJ families are homeless and waiting for  a warm place stay.   The media tends to put their energy into irrelevant happenings that don't effect our everyday lives.  Like the mom or dad that is out of work.  A child that is starving for yet another year.  These are the realities that none of us want to think about.   I read endlessly on how important it is to stay positive in such a negative world.   This is when I have to put everything in it's place and into perspective.  How to spread Green Cheer for the holidays and receive wealth in the year 2013?   It is entirely up to me and my healthy attitude....but here is a couple negative(s) that I stay away from.  Here is my list of  holiday bummers.

1.  I don't watch the news.  News is not "news"... it is entertainment.  It plays on negativity.
2.  Oust Negative people, Places, and things.
3. Don't over indulged in
    -  spending
    - drinking
    - eating

Channing Matthew Tatum (born April 26, 1980) is an American actor, producer, and former model. However, the truth is that tantra is the science of life, a way of living, which aims to remove all roadblocks towards liberation. While some spiritual practices consider material pleasures as forbidden and obstructing progress on the spiritual path, thereby causing a constant internal battle within the spiritual seeker that involves self-condemnation and guilt, the tantric perspective is that our ignorance of our true nature is the only real impurity.

Tantra says be the way you are: impulses, imperfections and all. It doesn’t tell you to go against your impulses or to fight against your being. Tantra simply teaches the transmutation of energy.

It teaches one to transform hate into love, to transform sex into samadhi, to go from anger to acceptance, from ego to surrendering. Tantra allows you to transform kama (sexual energy), krodha (anger), moha (attachments), lobha (greed) and ahankara (ego).

Each of us are born in this life with these qualities that belong to our lower nature. Instead of resisting them, suppressing them or denying them, tantra teaches you to embrace these aspects of ourselves and use them as catalysts for self-awakening. Through the use of meditation, mantra recitation and visualisation, your ordinary perception can be transformed into a pure perception. Then, everything becomes sacred.

The word ‘tantra’ is a combination of the two words ‘tattva’ and ‘mantra.’ Tattva means the science of cosmic truth, while mantra is the science of mystical sounds and vibrations. Thus, tantra is the utilisation of cosmic science to reach higher spiritual heights.

Our world comprises opposite and polar energies. Hot-cold, dark-light, good-bad, male-female, and so on. Everything in creation is a manifestation of these divine polarities.

These opposites are classified as Shiva and Shakti, the male and female forces in nature. Shiva is the Destroyer and represents Universal Consciousness. Shakti is the Divine Mother who gives birth to all creation. This is the mystical connection between Shiva and Shakti. Shiva and Shakti are one, but they hold the power, freedom and wisdom to appear in various ways. All beings are expressions of this endless life process of Shiva-Shakti.

During the movement from imperfection to perfection, an individual passes through three stages: In the first stage, a person is completely controlled by animal instincts. In the next stage, the person gains control over these instincts. In the final stage, after constant struggle and effort, the human being becomes Divine. Tantra reveals the cosmic circle through which a soul moves from a lower state of consciousness to the highest state of consciousness.

1 & 2) Larry Page and Sergey Brin

The founders of Google have built their Yahoo-smashing search engine into a growing empire that shows no signs of slowing down. Page and Brin have an amazing knack for making good decisions and as a result have been able to move into the online advertising market, television and other markets, all while seeing their stock continue to rise. A good area to gain knowledge and attention would be to learn about international trade.  This is a high level of interest among Gem Males.  Talking Trade is better than any pick-up line ....Ladies cast your spell ; influence him with trade.  Pow!  Right in the kisser!

Thousands of years of exchanging goods between nations has led to the evolution of the vastly sophisticated mechanisms that govern international trade today.  However, for all our all technology, we have lost sight of the basic principles upon which inter-national trade was founded.  While some countries continue to import far more than they export, many manage to maintain a healthy profit from trading overseas.  Nations that are oil or mineral rich such as the Gulf States ($520bn) and Australia ($20.7bn) tend to generate trade surplus; while manufacturing power houses such as Germany (€158bn), China ($155bn) and Japan (-$32bn due to earthquake) are also able to maintain a healthy profit from international trade, even though they themselves are not necessarily rich in raw materials.  Emerging economic powerhouses such as Brazil ($30bn) and Argentina ($12bn+) have managed to maintain both trade surpluses and economic growth as the ‘old powers’ of Western Europe and the United States grapple with perennial trade deficits through boom and bust.   In fact, the United States has sustained a trade deficit since 1975 which last year reached a staggering $560bn. Meanwhile in the UK, the trade deficit is so bad it is given in monthly figures.

So how do mineral rich industrial nations like the USA & UK defy sound economic reason and common sense?  One of cornerstones of international trade is that a nation seeks to export those commodities, goods or services which it has in abundance for those which are scarce.  This stands to reason, as nations rich in manpower and technology, yet poor in resources such as Japan depend upon the import of metal ores from Australia, rubber from South East Asia, and fossil fuels from the Gulf which can they turn into manufactured goods for export.  As far as is possible they manufacture what they need at home and import that which they can’t or don’t have.  Common sense prevails.  In contrast, the UK and the USA have spawned multi-national corporations which serve to suck in foreign imports on the basis of cost rather than need, and transfer the processing and manufacturing of goods overseas without hesitation simply to maximize profit margins.  From a corporate viewpoint this makes rational reading, but to their host countries this represents economic suicide.  Although the target markets and raw materials may lie overseas, the prosperity that comes from jobs and technology is lost along with the manufacturing base.  Recently this has come to a head as Amazon, Google and Starbucks have been called to Parliament to account for their tax avoidance and ravaging of the domestic economy.

In theory, trade deficits accumulated in times of austerity may be repaid during years of prosperity, but this has not been the logic applied by the United States or the United Kingdom.  The corporate culture has transcended the fundamental principles of national economies, with such absurdities arising as supermarket chains importing foods which are actually grown within their host country solely on the basis of consumer preferences and cost.  This defies the first principle of international trade, which is that you don’t buy overseas what you already have in abundance at home.  True, tomatoes grown in North Africa may cost less per pound than those in British glasshouses, but this policy results in lost revenues to the national economy as well as depleting water resources which the growing nation can ill afford.  The consumer may actually end up paying less for tomatoes, but the nation ends up paying more.  While spending £500m on tomatoes grown overseas may save the supermarket chain £100m, in effect it costs the domestic economy £600m in lost earnings and £500m in exported currency.  Once the cotton fields of India and the United States fed one of the world’s largest textile industries centered within the United Kingdom.  Today, little remains of the British garment and textile industry, and the internationally renowned fashion houses of the UK focus their manufacturing base overseas and import the finished goods at the expense of the British taxpayer.  In conclusion, it is entirely rational from an economic standpoint to suggest, where possible, that goods and services be manufactured and provided within the domestic economy.  If a nation needs to import technology and commodities, such as coffee or steel which it does not have, then it has to pay for them by exporting its own surpluses.   Until this presiding principle of trade is remembered, the Old World will never regain its prosperity.

100% Cure - not so Fishy!

I  never thought I would be writing about my psoriasis...I have discovered a cure that I have to tell my readers about.  Just to give you some background on my psoriasis. After being sick with strep last year I earned a patchy rash that came with my recovery.  Well, not so much!   This rash hung around for 6 month after I tested negative for strep.  My MD and my dermatologist couldn't understand why I could not get rid of this nasty rash on my belly, my back, and my arms.  Every time a patch would  disappear a new one would re-appear.....annoying and unsightly.   My dermatologist gave me every cream out there....and a biopsy, to see what type of psoriasis it was. After using 2 more steroid creams that did not help and only irritated the situation, my doctor asked me to try Fish oil.   I am game to try anything. Especially a natural oil!  I bought a high potency fish oil and applied it to my patching spots all over the trunk of my body.  With a pin, I pricked a hole in the gel cap and only put a  tiny bit on the psoriasis patches.
Within 3-4 days the areas were getting lighter, not as red.  It has been only 2 weeks and I have can say, my psoriasis is 100% better....and I have not received any more new break-outs.  My doctor has asked for feedback on the fish oil as an aid to cure psoriasis.  I am happy to report that I am a psoriasis suffer, no-more!  If you can get over the fishy scent...which is not so bad....you will find that this is a fantastic remedy for psoriasis.  Very inexpensive....8.99 I got 100 gel caps of fish oil.   I spent over hundred dollars on steroid creams that did not help.  I am a PISCES ...I guess I  should have known that fish oil would be the ONLY cure for me!

I  found this article to be very appropriate for EYE ON GREEN MAGAZINE.  I have been living in NJ for 29 years and in Long Island for 8.  Hurricane Sandy caught me by surprise and  I  still can't believe the destruction she left behind.  Altough, there have been many predictions on a seaside storm hitting the cost.... many such as myself were not ready to deal with the reality.   It has been almost 2 weeks since the rise of  "Sandy"  and  no one would believe that lighting can strike again in the same area.....But if it does, NEW YORK needs to repair and prepare our waterfront for the next time.    Hurricane Sandy still making headlines and how will The City  protect our  waterfront against another huge storm.  Fascinating projects are surfacing on how the city will do just that.
